| CVE-2026-84448 | Medium | 4.0 v3 | - | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-09-18 | libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. Prior to 1.23.2, the public heif_region_item_add_region_inline_mask_data() function in libheif/api/libheif/heif_regions.cc accepts mask_data_len without verifying that it equals the byte count required by width and height. A later heif_region_get_mask_image() call derives the read length from the region geometry, so an undersized stored buffer causes heif_region_get_inline_mask_image() to read beyond the heap allocation and copy adjacent bytes into the returned monochrome mask image. This can disclose heap data or crash an application that constructs region metadata through the writer API, while the file-parsing path is not affected because it validates the canonical mask size. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.2. |
| CVE-2026-67549 | High | 7.6 v3 | - | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-09-18 | OpenImageIO is a toolset for reading, writing, and manipulating image files of any image file format relevant to VFX / animation. Prior to 3.1.16.0, A crafted 1-bit contiguous cmyk tiff is exposed through a native uint1 imagespec, so callers allocate a bit-packed buffer. tiffinput::read_native_scanline_locked() nevertheless invokes tiffinput::bit_convert() with 8-bit output and writes one expanded byte per value into that smaller buffer, resulting in a heap out-of-bounds write and memory corruption. The affected implementation is identified by src/tiff.imageio/tiffinput.cpp, TIFFInput::bit_convert(), TIFFInput::read_native_scanline_locked(), PHOTOMETRIC_SEPARATED, 1-bit CMYK, and native uint1 ImageSpec, which define the relevant source path, functions, state, and trigger. | CVE-2026-54692 | High | 7.8 v3 | - | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-09-17 | SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles. Prior to 1.0.0, sail_codec_load_frame_v8_xbm() in src/sail-codecs/xbm/xbm.c allocates the decoded pixel buffer using the X11 one-byte-per-literal layout, but an X10 static short file causes the flat decode loop to write two file-controlled bytes per literal. When ceil(width/8) produces an odd row stride, the X10 literal count includes a padding byte for every row, but the destination has no space for those bytes, so loading the XBM through sail_load_from_file, sail_load_from_memory, or sail_start_loading_* produces a forward heap overwrite that scales with image height. The X11 static char path is not affected. The overwrite can corrupt process state, cause reliable crashe |
| CVE-2026-91962 | Medium | 6.3 v3 | - | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-09-15 | FreeRDP before 3.31.0 contains an integer overflow in the audin Apple backends when processing FramesPerPacket values from MSG_SNDIN_OPEN messages. Attackers can supply crafted FramesPerPacket values that cause AudioQueueAllocateBuffer size computation to wrap, resulting in undersized buffer allocation and potential out-of-bounds access. |
| CVE-2026-47773 | High | 7.2 v4 | 0.1% | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-09-11 | ArduinoBLE enables Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity on certain Arduino models. Versions prior to 2.0.2 contain a missing bounds check in the ATT layer write request handler that allows a remote, unauthenticated BLE client to corrupt memory in the ATTClass global object. Devices running ArduinoBLE with one or more characteristics configured with the BLEEncryption property are affected. The fix is included starting from the 2.0.2 release. |
| CVE-2026-22590 | Critical | 9.1 v3 | 0.4% | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-09-09 | eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard of the OMG (Object Management Group). Versions prior to 2.6.12, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4.2 have a remotely triggerable Out-of-Bounds Read while processing RTPS `DATA_FRAG` submessages. An attacker can craft a `DATA_FRAG` with a large `sampleSize` but a small actual payload, and set `fragmentsInSubmessage` such that the receiver treats the packet as the LAST fragment**. In this LAST-fragment path, Fast-DDS computes `incoming_length` based on `sampleSize` and calls `memcpy()` without validating `incoming_data.length >= incoming_length`. As a result, `CacheChange_t::add_fragments()` reads past the received UDP datagram buffer and into adjacent heap memory, copying those bytes into the reassembly buf |
| CVE-2026-69598 | High | 8.8 v3 | 0.8% | - | Fix available | 2026-09-08 | Incorrect calculation of buffer size in Windows iSCSI allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| CVE-2026-78221 | Medium | 5.9 v4 | 0.1% | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-09-07 | An incorrect buffer size calculation in the Windows Interactive Service in OpenVPN 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.6 allows local authenticated users to cause memory corruption or disclose sensitive information via crafted NRPT inputs. |
| CVE-2026-78002 | Medium | 7.5 v3 | 0.6% | - | Fix available | 2026-09-07 | A flaw was found in rsyslog. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger a heap buffer overflow in the RainerScript `replace()` function by sending specially crafted syslog messages. This vulnerability arises from an incorrect buffer size calculation during string replacement, causing memory corruption. Successful exploitation can lead to a denial of service (DoS) for the affected system. |
| CVE-2026-18743 | Low | 2.5 v3 | 0.1% | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-09-02 | A flaw was found in popt. This vulnerability allows an attacker to provide specially crafted configuration content to a host, which, when loaded, can lead to a small memory corruption issue. This occurs because of an error in how the `poptConfigFileToString` function reallocates memory for buffers. Successful exploitation could result in heap metadata corruption, potentially causing the affected process to become unavailable (denial of service). |
| CVE-2026-70457 | Medium | 6.5 v3 | 0.4% | - | Fix available | 2026-08-23 | rsync 3.2.3 before 3.5.0 contains an out-of-bounds write in parse_size_arg() where the return value of snprintf() is used directly as an index into a .bss-segment array without bounds checking. When snprintf truncates the formatted size string, the return value equals the number of characters that would have been written including the truncated portion, and this value may exceed the array length. The subsequent indexed write targets memory outside the intended array bounds, corrupting .bss memory. |
| CVE-2026-16924 | High | 7.5 v3 | 0.3% | - | Fix available | 2026-08-20 | IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to an improper calculation of a memory offset during IPsec decapsulation. |
| CVE-2026-44254 | Medium | 5.3 v3 | 0.4% | - | Fix available | 2026-08-19 | Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 1.0.0 until 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta2, HandleSecureMessage() in src/remoted/secure.c passes a pointer inside its stack buffer to ReadSecMSG(), and src/os_crypto/shared/msgs.c decompresses up to OS_MAXSTR bytes at that offset. For an encrypted agent message on TCP port 1514 that expands to 65,536 bytes, os_zlib_uncompress() writes a terminating null byte beyond the end of the destination buffer. The resulting stack out-of-bounds write in the root-level remoted daemon can crash message processing and disrupt agent communications. This issue is fixed in versions 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta2. |
| CVE-2026-52834 | High | 7.3 v3 | 0.1% | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-08-19 | jxl-oxide is a pure Rust implementation of a JPEG XL decoder. Prior to jxl-grid 0.6.2, decoding a crafted JPEG XL image on a 32-bit platform can overflow length calculations in AlignedGrid::with_alloc_tracker and related grid and subgrid arithmetic. A 65536 x 65536 frame can pass the frame-area limit while overflowing the usize element count, causing modular, VarDCT, or filter rendering paths to allocate a backing buffer smaller than the logical grid. A tiny bitstream-controlled cropped frame combined with a huge canvas or requested region can also reach the vulnerable composition path in crates/jxl-render/src/blend.rs through ordinary render_frame(). Later mutable subgrid and raw-pointer operations can then perform attacker-controlled out-of-bounds writes, causing memory corruption, denia |
| CVE-2026-75093 | Medium | 4.3 v3 | 0.3% | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-08-18 | A security vulnerability has been detected in sonos tract up to 0.23.4. This impacts the function Tensor::from_raw_dt_align of the file data/src/tensor.rs of the component ONNX Initializer Loader. Such manipulation leads to incorrect calculation of buffer size. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The name of the patch is 66b10bda8895f4bfaf8c205361f0125cdf51f99b. It is best practice to apply a patch to resolve this issue. |
| CVE-2026-42170 | High | 7.8 v3 | 0.2% | - | Fix available | 2026-08-08 | A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the GIMP DDS (DirectDraw Surface) file parser. When a crafted DDS file declares a D3D9 pixel format but sets a lower bits-per-pixel (bpp) value in the header, the loader allocates an undersized heap buffer. Subsequent pixel data consumption at the real format's stride causes a write past the heap buffer boundary, leading to heap metadata corruption and potential code execution. |
| CVE-2026-42169 | High | 7.3 v3 | 0.1% | - | Fix available | 2026-08-04 | A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in the APNG (Animated PNG) file loader of GIMP. This flaw occurs when the `fcTL` width exceeds the `IHDR` width, leading to pixel data being written past the end of a heap allocation. Additionally, a heap-based buffer overflow exists in the DDS plug-in due to a BPP mismatch in the `load_layer()` function. Both vulnerabilities can be triggered by opening a specially crafted image file, potentially leading to code execution. |
| CVE-2026-45812 | Medium | 6.5 v3 | 0.4% | - | Fix available | 2026-07-24 | Incorrect Calculation of Buffer Size vulnerability in Apache NimBLE when processing Legacy Advertising Report HCI event. When a single HCI advertising report event bundles multiple reports, NimBLE miscalculated the offset to the next report. This can cause the host to read past the end of the buffer and deliver a GAP event with bogus data to the application. Severity is low: NimBLE's own controller never batches multiple reports into one event, so this only matters when NimBLE's host is paired with a third-party controller that does. This issue affects Apache NimBLE: through 1.9.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.10.0, which fixes the issue. |
| CVE-2026-65706 | High | 7.8 v3 | 0.1% | - | Fix available | 2026-07-23 | FFmpeg versions 3.0 through 8.1.2 contain an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the vf_swaprect video filter that allows attackers to corrupt heap memory by supplying a crafted NV12 video frame with odd width dimensions. The filter_frame() function reuses a temporary row buffer sized for plane 0's single-byte pixel step across all planes, causing an 18-byte memcpy into a 17-byte heap allocation when processing the two-byte-per-sample interleaved chroma plane of a 17x16 NV12 frame, resulting in heap corruption and process crash with potential for code execution. |
| CVE-2026-65705 | High | 7.8 v3 | 0.1% | - | Fix available | 2026-07-23 | FFmpeg versions 3.4 through 8.1.2 contain an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the vf_floodfill video filter that allows attackers to corrupt heap memory by supplying a dynamically sized video stream with filtergraph reinitialization disabled via -reinit_filter 0. When config_input() allocates the points traversal stack based on initial frame dimensions and a subsequent larger frame is processed, filter_frame() performs flood-fill neighbor pushes beyond the original allocation boundary, resulting in heap corruption and process crash with potential for code execution depending on heap layout and process hardening. |
| CVE-2026-45784 | Medium | 7.1 v3 | 0.1% | - | Fix available | 2026-07-19 | rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From 0.10.50 until 0.10.80, CipherCtxRef::cipher_update_inplace in openssl/src/cipher_ctx.rs incorrectly sized output buffers when used with AES key-wrap-with-padding ciphers EVP_aes_{128,192,256}_wrap_pad. For a non-multiple-of-8 input, OpenSSL writes up to 7 bytes past the end of the caller's buffer or Vec, producing attacker-controllable heap corruption when the plaintext length is attacker-influenced. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.80. |
| CVE-2026-55827 | High | 7.5 v3 | 0.3% | - | Fix available | 2026-07-10 | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.1, FreeRDP clients launched with the non-default /cache:codec:rfx option pass desktop stride and height to RemoteFX decoding for Cache Bitmap V3 data while allocating bitmap->data only for the smaller DstWidth and DstHeight in gdi_Bitmap_Decompress, allowing a malicious RDP server to trigger a heap out-of-bounds write with attacker-controlled offset and content. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.1. |
| CVE-2026-0280 | High | 7.2 v3 | 0.3% | - | Fix available | 2026-07-09 | An IPv6 packet processing vulnerability in the dataplane of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® software enables an unauthenticated attacker to bypass firewall security policy enforcement, allowing network traffic that should be blocked to reach protected services. Cloud NGFW and Panorama are not impacted by this vulnerability. |
| CVE-2026-52955 | Medium | 7.5 v3 | 0.4% | - | Fix available | 2026-07-02 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: Fix potential out-of-bounds access in crush_decode() A message of type CEPH_MSG_OSD_MAP containing a crush map with at least one bucket has two fields holding the bucket algorithm. If the values in these two fields differ, an out-of-bounds access can occur. This is the case because the first algorithm field (alg) is used to allocate the correct amount of memory for a bucket of this type, while the second algorithm field inside the bucket (b->alg) is used in the subsequent processing. This patch fixes the issue by adding a check that compares alg and b->alg and aborts the processing in case they differ. Furthermore, b->alg is set to 0 in this case, because the destruction of the crush map also uses this field to |
| CVE-2026-42055 | High | 8.1 v3 | 6.5% | - | Fix available | 2026-07-01 | NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_proxy_v2_module and ngx_http_grpc_module modules. This vulnerability exists when the proxy_http_version to 2 or grpc_pass directives are used to proxy HTTP/2 traffic, the ignore_invalid_headers directive is set to off, and the large_client_header_buffers directive size is larger than 2 megabytes. A remote, unauthenticated attacker, along with conditions beyond their control, could send large headers while creating an upstream request. This may cause a heap-based buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End o |
| CVE-2026-54696 | Low | 3.7 v3 | 0.4% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-30 | Ruby JSON is a JSON implementation for Ruby. Versions 2.9.0 through 2.19.8 are vulnerable to heap buffer overflow when the JSON generator is provided with an oversized streamed object. When streaming to an IO JSON.dump(obj, io) and JSON::State#generate(obj, io) can write past the internal JSON generator buffer when a streamed object contains an attacker-controlled string near 16 KB. Exploitation would result in a reliable process crash/denial of service. This issue has been fixed in version 2.19.9. |
| CVE-2026-53143 | High | 7.8 v3 | 0.2% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-28 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix buffer overflow in SDMA queue checkpoint/restore on GFX11 The v11 MQD manager incorrectly assigned the CP-compute variants of checkpoint_mqd/restore_mqd for KFD_MQD_TYPE_SDMA queues. These functions use sizeof(struct v11_compute_mqd) (2048 bytes) instead of sizeof(struct v11_sdma_mqd) (512 bytes), causing a 1536-byte overflow. During CRIU checkpoint of an SDMA queue on Navi3x: - checkpoint_mqd() reads 2048 bytes from a 512-byte SDMA MQD buffer, leaking 1536 bytes of adjacent GTT memory to userspace During CRIU restore: - restore_mqd() writes 2048 bytes into a 512-byte SDMA MQD buffer, corrupting 1536 bytes of adjacent GTT memory (often the ring buffer or neighboring MQDs) This is a copy-paste reg |
| CVE-2026-53091 | Medium | 7.1 v3 | 0.1% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-27 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: pull headers in qdisc_pkt_len_segs_init() Most ndo_start_xmit() methods expects headers of gso packets to be already in skb->head. net/core/tso.c users are particularly at risk, because tso_build_hdr() does a memcpy(hdr, skb->data, hdr_len); qdisc_pkt_len_segs_init() already does a dissection of gso packets. Use pskb_may_pull() instead of skb_header_pointer() to make sure drivers do not have to reimplement this. Some malicious packets could be fed, detect them so that we can drop them sooner with a new SKB_DROP_REASON_SKB_BAD_GSO drop_reason. |
| CVE-2026-2050 | High | 7.8 v3 | 0.6% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-24 | GIMP HDR File Parsing Heap-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of GIMP. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of HDR files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-28266. |
| CVE-2026-42915 | High | 5.5 v3 | 0.4% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-16 | Incorrect calculation of buffer size in Windows VMSwitch allows an authorized attacker to deny service locally. |
| CVE-2026-8357 | High | 7.8 v3 | 0.2% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-15 | LibreOffice Calc compiles cell formulas when opening a spreadsheet. A heap buffer overflow existed when compiling a very long formula made up of many opening tokens. The array that tracks nesting depth was allocated one element too small for that worst case, so such a formula wrote one element past its end. In fixed versions the array is sized to hold the largest possible nesting. |
| CVE-2026-46521 | Medium | 5.5 v3 | 0.1% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-10 | ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-48 and 7.1.2-23, when using LZMA compression in the MIFF encoder an out of bounds write can occur due to a missing check. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-48 and 7.1.2-23. |
| CVE-2026-2049 | High | 7.8 v3 | 0.6% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-10 | GIMP HDR File Parsing Heap-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. Was ZDI-CAN-28618. |
| CVE-2026-11604 | Medium | 6.5 v3 | 0.3% | - | -No fix available yet | 2026-06-10 | An incorrect buffer size calculation in the epoch key generator in OpenVPN ovpn-dco-win version 2.0.0 through 2.8.3 allows a remote authenticated peer to trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and kernel memory corruption via a crafted data packet, resulting in a system crash (denial of service). |
| CVE-2026-49841 | Critical | 9.8 v3 | 0.4% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-09 | FreeSWITCH is a Software Defined Telecom Stack enabling the digital transformation from proprietary telecom switches to a software implementation that runs on any commodity hardware. Prior to version 1.11.1, the mod_verto HTTP request handler allocates a fixed 2 MiB buffer for a POST application/x-www-form-urlencoded body but accepts Content-Length up to just under 10 MiB. The body-read loop is bounded by Content-Length rather than the buffer size, producing an attacker-controlled heap overflow of up to ~8 MiB -- before the HTTP basic-auth check runs. This issue has been patched in version 1.11.1. |
| CVE-2026-10701 | High | 7.5 v3 | 0.3% | - | Fix available | 2026-06-02 | Incorrect boundary conditions in the Graphics: Text component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 151.0.3. |
| CVE-2026-44420 | High | 8.8 v3 | 3.7% | - | Fix available | 2026-05-29 | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.26.0, a malicious RDP client can trigger a heap-buffer-overflow write in FreeRDP's server-side clipboard (cliprdr) channel by sending a CB_CLIP_CAPS PDU with a too-small capabilitySetLength. This can crash the server process (remote DoS) and may be exploitable for code execution because it corrupts heap memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.26.0. |
| CVE-2026-43501 | Medium | 7.0 v3 | 0.6% | - | Fix available | 2026-05-22 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: rpl: reserve mac_len headroom when recompressed SRH grows ipv6_rpl_srh_rcv() decompresses an RFC 6554 Source Routing Header, swaps the next segment into ipv6_hdr->daddr, recompresses, then pulls the old header and pushes the new one plus the IPv6 header back. The recompressed header can be larger than the received one when the swap reduces the common-prefix length the segments share with daddr (CmprI=0, CmprE>0, seg[0][0] != daddr[0] gives the maximum +8 bytes). pskb_expand_head() was gated on segments_left == 0, so on earlier segments the push consumed unchecked headroom. Once skb_push() leaves fewer than skb->mac_len bytes in front of data, skb_mac_header_rebuild()'s call to: skb_set_mac_header(skb, -skb->ma |
| CVE-2026-42945 | Critical | 8.1 v3 | 68% | - | Fix available | 2026-05-16 | NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_rewrite_module module. This vulnerability exists when the rewrite directive is followed by a rewrite, if, or set directive and an unnamed Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) capture (for example, $1, $2) with a replacement string that includes a question mark (?). An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond its control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. |
| CVE-2026-44223 | Medium | 6.5 v3 | 0.4% | - | Fix available | 2026-05-12 | vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.18.0 to before 0.20.0, the extract_hidden_states speculative decoding proposer in vLLM returns a tensor with an incorrect shape after the first decode step, causing a RuntimeError that crashes the EngineCore process. The crash is triggered when any request in the batch uses sampling penalty parameters (repetition_penalty, frequency_penalty, or presence_penalty). A single request with a penalty parameter (e.g., "repetition_penalty": 1.1) is sufficient to crash the server. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.20.0. |

| CVE-2026-43107 | Medium | 5.5 v3 | 0.1% | - | Fix available | 2026-05-07 | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: account XFRMA_IF_ID in aevent size calculation xfrm_get_ae() allocates the reply skb with xfrm_aevent_msgsize(), then build_aevent() appends attributes including XFRMA_IF_ID when x->if_id is set. xfrm_aevent_msgsize() does not include space for XFRMA_IF_ID. For states with if_id, build_aevent() can fail with -EMSGSIZE and hit BUG_ON(err < 0) in xfrm_get_ae(), turning a malformed netlink interaction into a kernel panic. Account XFRMA_IF_ID in the size calculation unconditionally and replace the BUG_ON with normal error unwinding. |
| CVE-2026-29004 | High | 8.1 v3 | 0.4% | - | Fix available | 2026-05-04 | BusyBox before commit 42202bf contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the DHCPv6 client (udhcpc6) DNS_SERVERS option handler in networking/udhcp/d6_dhcpc.c that allows network-adjacent attackers to trigger memory corruption by sending a crafted DHCPv6 response with a malformed D6_OPT_DNS_SERVERS option. Attackers can exploit incorrect heap buffer allocation calculations in the option_to_env() function to cause denial of service or achieve arbitrary code execution on embedded systems without heap hardening. |
| CVE-2026-41676 | High | 7.5 v3 | 0.3% | - | Fix available | 2026-04-27 | rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From 0.9.27 to before 0.10.78, Deriver::derive (and PkeyCtxRef::derive) sets len = buf.len() and passes it as the in/out length to EVP_PKEY_derive, relying on OpenSSL to honor it. On OpenSSL 1.1.x, X25519, X448, DH and HKDF-extract ignore the incoming *keylen, unconditionally writing the full shared secret (32/56/prime-size bytes). A caller passing a short slice gets a heap/stack overflow from safe code. OpenSSL 3.x providers do check, so this only impacts older OpenSSL. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.10.78. |

libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: account XFRMA_IF_ID in aevent size calculation xfrm_get_ae() allocates the reply skb with xfrm_aevent_msgsize(), then build_aevent() appends attributes including XFRMA_IF_ID when x->if_id is set. xfrm_aevent_msgsize() does not include space for XFRMA_IF_ID.

BusyBox before commit 42202bf contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the DHCPv6 client (udhcpc6) DNS_SERVERS option handler in networking/udhcp/d6_dhcpc.c that allows network-adjacent attackers to trigger memory corruption by sending a crafted DHCPv6 response with a malformed D6_OPT_DNS_SERVERS option. Attackers can exploit incorrect heap buffer allocation calculations in the option_to_env() function to cause denial of service or achieve arbitrary code execution on embedded systems without heap hardening.

rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language.

Noir is a Domain Specific Language for SNARK proving systems that is designed to use any ACIR compatible proving system, and Brillig is the bytecode ACIR uses for non-determinism. Noir programs can invoke external functions through foreign calls. When compiling to Brillig bytecode, the SSA instructions are processed block-by-block in `BrilligBlock::compile_block()`. When the compiler encounters an `Instruction::Call` with a `Value::ForeignFunction` target, it invokes `codegen_call()` in `brillig_call/code_gen_call.rs`, which dispatches to `convert_ssa_foreign_call()`. Before emitting the foreign call opcode, the compiler must pre-allocate memory for any array results the call will return. This happens through `allocate_external_call_results()`, which iterates over the result types. For `Ty

zlib is a Ruby interface for the zlib compression/decompression library. Versions 3.0.0 and below, 3.1.0, 3.1.1, 3.2.0 and 3.2.1 contain a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Zlib::GzipReader. The zstream_buffer_ungets function prepends caller-provided bytes ahead of previously produced output but fails to guarantee the backing Ruby string has enough capacity before the memmove shifts the existing data. This can lead to memory corruption when the buffer length exceeds capacity. This issue has been fixed in versions 3.0.1, 3.1.2 and 3.2.3.

NEMU (OpenXiangShan/NEMU) before v2025.12.r2 contains an improper instruction-validation flaw in its RISC-V Vector (RVV) decoder. The decoder does not correctly validate the funct3 field when decoding vsetvli/vsetivli/vsetvl, allowing certain invalid OP-V instruction encodings to be misinterpreted and executed as vset* configuration instructions rather than raising an illegal-instruction exception. This can be exploited by providing crafted RISC-V binaries to cause incorrect trap behavior, architectural state corruption/divergence, and potential denial of service in systems that rely on NEMU for correct execution or sandboxing.
